Two rapist jailed for just 40 months each because the judge said their 11-year-old victim was “willing”

Judge David Farrell even agreed with Roshane Channer and Ruben Monteiro at Luton Crown Court that he thought the schoolgirl looked like she was 14 when she was raped in a block of flats in the Bedfordshire town. The sentence he handed to them was despite judge Farrell describing the case as 'abhorrent' and saying that the pair had shown 'a casual attitude to sex and relationships'.
