Dr Martins Salia is the second person to die of Ebola on the American soil. The Surgeon, a citizen of Sierra Leone, contracted Ebola while working in the country. He died this morning while he was receiving treatment in a bio-containment centre in Omaha.
When Dr Salia arrived in America on Saturday, his condition had deteriorated. His kidney and respiratory system was already shutting down.
The hospital spokesman,Taylor Wilson said Dr Salia died at about 4 am today. On his arrival on Saturday, he was treated with the ZMapp and blood plasma transfusion from a patient who has recovered from Ebola.
