If you are a fan of Green driving with high performance, here is a car that would set your pulse racing with its design, practicality and greenness. The brand new Tesla Model S P85D with an "Insane" setting; this sounds cool for an electric car. The car has three settings - Normal, Sport and Insane.
The car has a 285 miles range at 65mph; 691hp motor power and can accelerate from 0 - 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. The car can reach a top speed of 155mph when in Insane setting mode. The Tesla S P85D is a five door electric Sedan, which can travel 295 miles on a single charge. It is also a dual motor all wheel drive, meaning you can switch from one engine to the other. The all wheel drive is powered by 221 hp in the front wheel and 470 hp at the rear.
The P85D comes with its Auto Pilot function, with a forward looking camera, radar, and 360-degree ultrasonic sensors that actively monitor the surrounding roadway. The car can change lanes by itself when you indicate left or right.
The car does not come cheap, considering all it's cool features. It will cost roughly £90,000 and it's due out in December. Deliveries is scheduled to begin in July 2015.
