Kanye West is NOT using “corporal punishment” on daughter North, nor did he and Kim Kardashian have
a fight over it, despite a false tabloid report. The story, which originated in
the National
Enquirer, is completely untrue,
a rep for Kardashian tells Gossip Cop.
The supermarket tabloid claims West and Kardashian had a
“child-rearing brouhaha” when she allegedly saw West “tapping their waiting
tyke ever-so-lightly on the hand while insisting ‘no…no…NO.’” A supposed
“source” for the Enquirer alleges
the reality star “got furious with Kanye and triggered a screaming match — with
him raging that she’s too permissive and lax about telling a child what NOT to
do. Kanye’s adamant that ‘a child’s got to be schooled!’”
The outlet’s supposed “source” notes that Kardashian “doesn’t
believe in ANY corporal punishment,” and further claims this isn’t the first
time the couple has battled over the issue, alleging a prior fight took place
in front of friends with West “storming off” when Kardashian went to comfort
North.
Except both alleged arguments never happened, just like many
other things the Enquirer has wrongly claimed about the stars.
That long list includes made-up battles and articles, such as the one
that ridiculously alleged West was buying Kardashian a castle as a wedding
gift. This new story now joins that dreadful collection. A rep for Kardashian
tells Gossip Cop that the Enquirer punishment
allegations are “false.”
